She was either exhausted or perhaps just not in the mood. 
But whatever the case, Avril Lavinge looked stiff and bored as her boyfriend Brody Jenner leaned in for a kiss with the 26-year-old Canadian singer.
Staring at the ceiling, the pop rock singer was anything but interested in getting affectionate with the 27-year-old former Hill's star at Boa Steakhouse last night.

The couple were enjoying a low-key dinner at the eatery when Brody attempted to tenderly kiss her on the lips. 
The pale blonde laid slumped in her chair as he literally tried to initiate a romantic moment, to no avail.
Both pair were dressed down for their Sunday night out.

Avril slipped on a black and white oversized t-shirt and wore her hair in a low-key pony tail, while Brody was comfortable in a checked flannel shirt and his customary backwards baseball cap. 

Avril and Brody have been dating since February last year, and have since been enjoying a whirlwind romance.

They have been spotted loved-up all over L.A. and professiong their love for each other with numerous tattoos.

In April last year Avril got lightning bolt to match Brody's tattoo under his ear.

The couple then garnered media attention in May 2010, after receiving matching tattoos of the word "f***" on their ribs.

Avril recently returned home from a five week tour in Paris, London, Italy, Hong Kong, and Japan.

She is promoting her new album Goodbye Lullaby which was released in the US on March 2nd.

Kim Kardashian has said 'I do' to her basketballer fiancé Kris Humphries in a beautiful sunset ceremony attended by her A-list friends.
The couple tied the knot at 6.30pm in a 30-minute service watched by their families, and celebrity guests including Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Mel B, Venus and Serena Williams, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato.
Kim's spokesperson revealed the bride wore an ivory custom-designed strapless Vera Wang gown with full tulle skirt, basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on the bodice and 'epic' train.

E! - the network behind the Kardashians' reality shows - reported that the bride wore her hair up and off her face.
Her veil remained off her face for the walk down the aisle with step father Bruce Jenner, and included a jewelled headpiece with diamonds that 'dripped on to Kim's forehead,' according E! Online.

She wore Guiseppe Zanotti shoes, and exchanged weddings rings with Kris designed by her good friend Lorraine Schwartz, who also designed her stunning engagement ring.
Following the ceremony, the action moved to a separate tent with the bride changing into a second Vera Wang mermaid gown with more Chantilly lace on the bodice and hand-cut organza petals on the skirt, with the reality star expected to change into a third creation.

Kris was spotted talking to staff on the grounds before the wedding wearing a strapless white gown with an over-the-top bow across the bodice.

A near-stumble as co-maid of honour Kourtney walked down the aisle holding her son and ring bearer Mason caused a gasp from the guests.
She steadied herself, though, and little Mason, 21 months, zoomed down the aisle ahead of her.
The wedding breakfast was made by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck with a starter of buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad, and a choice of hand-formed agnolotti with sweet corn mascarpone and summer truffles, or roast chicken with Yukon Gold potato puree, caramelized brussels sprouts and summer truffles for the main course.
Guests at the wedding were treated to high security measures including metal detectors and having their phones and cameras taken away.

The wedding was called off just three days before the big day.
The high-profile couple had planned their nuptials to the last detail, choosing an old-glamour Hollywood theme for the event.
Today a humorous local erected this sign making light of the event outside their home.

It emerged yesterday that Kim was forced to cut 50 people from her overflowing list, according to Life & Style magazine.
Some of the cut guests included family members of step-father Bruce Jenner.
The magazine claims that after learning of all the filming equipment that will be inside the venue to shoot the party for Kim's E! wedding special, the fire marshal warned Kardashian to cut down the list.
Kim urged her fans to leave messages on her virtual wedding guestbook, adding: 'Even though you can’t all be there to help me celebrate today, it would mean so much to me if you would sign my ‘Virtual Wedding Guestbook‘ by leaving a comment below!'
Her mother and manager, Kris Jenner, is also very excited and barely got a wink of sleep last night.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: 'Morning dolls!! Wow @kimkardashian wedding day is finally here! I wanted to sleep in but too excited.'
Kim and Kris have confirmed they will not be honeymooning until next year. Kim was already scheduled to begin filming the second series of Kourtney & Kim Take New York in Manhattan before Kris' surprise proposal in May.
So the couple's first home will be the penthouse suite at the Gansevoort Park Avenue, the NY Post reports.
